Some may not be familiar with the varied sub-genres within Drum & Bass such as the deep and complex sounds of Neurofunk, the hard hitting, high energy style of Jump Up & the relaxed, up-tempo vibe of Liquid but as the rise of electronic music continues to grow in North America, these genres are really starting to blossom.
A perfect example comes with Spearhead Records own, LSB and his four track release titled, ‘Overthinking EP‘, which really highlights what Liquid D&B has to offer. The first track on the EP titled, ‘Overthinking‘ utilizes the soft vocals of Sian Sanderson to create a true, mello classic which sets the tone perfectly for the rest of the release. Other featured artists include UK’s Stamina MC as well as a remix from the well known duo, Technicolour & Komatic.
